Label what each URL is supposed to prove
- Album
- Uploader-supplied photos, titles, captions, watermarks, and contact context.
- External catalog
- A separate browsing result used to find categories or product pages.
- Marketplace source
- A Taobao, Weidian, 1688, or other listing that may provide price and variation context.
- Order or import route
- A separate service that may format or submit a listing for another workflow.
If one row contains several roles, use separate fields. A label such as “product link” hides which service controls the content, payment, support, or shipping.
Record enough context to recognize the lead later
- Exact URL and page role
- Neutral item clue, category, product code, and variation
- Uploader, store, or contact label exactly as shown
- Evidence visible: photos, measurements, source, price context, or QC
- Question still unresolved
- Date checked and archive reason when inactive
Append a dated change instead of overwriting the cell
Suppose a source listing worked in May, redirected in July, and showed a new variation in August. Three dated observations explain the change. Replacing the original cell with the August URL removes the evidence needed to understand why earlier notes no longer match.
| Date | Observation | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| 12 May | Album and explicit source share the same product code and color. | Keep for comparison. |
| 19 July | Source opens a store homepage rather than the saved item. | Pause; source unresolved. |
| 6 August | New listing found through the uploader's public page, but sizing differs. | Create a new candidate; do not overwrite the old one. |
Treat the review date as a timestamp, not a freshness guarantee
The date means a person reviewed the named fields on that date. It does not mean the seller, page, price, stock, photo set, or contact was continuously monitored. Write what was checked, not only when.
Recheck a saved row in five steps
- Open the album and confirm the item clue.
- Open only the explicit source saved for the row.
- Compare code, variation, size information, photos, and contact labels.
- Add a dated observation and unresolved question.
- Keep, pause, split into a new candidate, or archive.
Archive without deleting the lesson
Archive a row when the destination is unrelated, key evidence remains unavailable, or the route creates unresolved identity or payment concerns. Preserve the URL and a concise reason. An archived row prevents the same weak lead from being rediscovered and saved again.
